Paradigm Housing Group – Investor Communications – Case Study


Social Invest supported Paradigm Housing when the 15,650-home housing association launched its debut £350m sustainable bond issuance and associated sustainable finance framework. With this being Paradigm’s debut to the debt capital markets, there was a need and opportunity to provide an extra layer of investor communications to ensure prospective funders and wider stakeholders are informed of and updated on Paradigm’s sustainability and ESG commitments, along with social purpose, business performance and objectives of the organisation.

Our solution

We advised Paradigm on the creation of a new investor section on its website that meets the needs of the organisation and its investor stakeholders.

We worked in partnership with our financial advisory partners, Newbridge Advisors, to ensure a rigorous and compliant approach to how Paradigm present and publish financial and regulatory documentation on their website.

The project focused on capturing core components required for a strong investor page that would serve as an information portal and business case for existing and new investors.

This meant working within the existing website design and providing a website wireframe, with navigation bar and page layout, and all relevant content. This included elements such as messaging on the landing page, performance, key publications, credit rating, ESG and sustainability reports and associated documents, news updates, contacts. It also meant supporting documentation sharing and investor updates.

We then supported the media team with the content and structuring of a press release aimed at a finance audience, supporting with PR around the bond issue and framework launched.

Our results

The result was a robust and compliant investor section on Paradigm’s website, which hosts all the required information that investors (both existing and prospective) will need, while telling the story of Paradigm as a purpose-driven business that is committed to sustainability.

The subsequent press launch around the bond issuance saw coverage in key titles including Social Housing and Inside Housing magazines

What was achieved

Our support, in collaboration with Newbridge Advisors, enabled Paradigm to upgrade an essential communications tool – its website – in time for its first issuance, so that it meets the needs of large scale investor and potential investors. This will stand it in good stead for the future, with a blueprint for additional and optional sections and functionality it could develop as it continues on its sustainable finance journey and returns to the debt capital markets in future.
